This year we will again see and listen to MareziJazz, the only big band festival of this kind in Slovenia. Great music will delight us for the 6th year in row.

The audience at Marezige will assist to two excellent jazz-coloured evenings organised by the Marezige Youth Association.

On Friday, 1st of July, we will present you the following bands: Big band Hrošči, Tvrdokorne Mrlje, Jazz punt big band, Big band RTV Slovenija, Big band Cerknica, Big band DOM, Big band Nova, The Tzar Blues Band and The Open trio.

On Saturday, 2nd of July, it will be the turn of: Big band VOX Velenje, Špičikuc Orchestra, Big band Wonderbrass, Big band Vrhnika, Big band Krško, Jazz in Ti big band, Lovro Ravbar Quartet and Trio ONI.

The primary aim of MareziJazz is to present the big bands and despite its short history the festival met positive responses from both the musicians and the jazz fans from Slovenia an abroad. The proof of the organizers' good job are also new big bands that each year want to perform on the MareziJazz stage. The two-day event is an excellent opportunity for socializing and sharing experiences between musicians from different music groups. The organizers of the event remain faithful to our original purpose: we want to offer the local audience and visitors a good-quality musical weekend with great artists, recognized both at home and abroad. With the already traditional summer event on the Slovenian coast we strive to  contribute to a greater number of listeners of big band music.

The visit of two pleasant evening in the company of great music will be without any entrance fee.
